Fred E. Haug, Sr. Fred E. Haug 68, of 910 Dodge died Sunday at Luther Hospital, Mr. Haug was employed for 25 years with Stock's Electric.

He was chairman of the Electricians Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee and for more than 25 years was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Mr. a was a member of Eau Claire Masonic Lodge 112 Surviving are his wife, thy; two sons, Dr. Fred Haug, Eau Claire, Richard Haug, Des Moines, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Balthazor, a Claire; five brothers, Ellis, Norman, Edwin (Bud) and Norris, all of Eau Claire, John, four sisters, Mrs.

Phillip Heintz, Mrs. Edna Nichols, Mrs. Doris Polden, Mrs. Emil Han, all of Eau Claire; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday at Smith's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roy B. Schmeichel officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m.

Tuesday and Wednesday until time of services. Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday. John Conrad BOYD John Conrad. 100, a former Boyd resident, died Saturday at Margaret's Nursing Home in Waukesha.

Mr. Conrad was born Aug. 26, 1869, at Freedom. He was the oldest of 15 children. He marrieds Mary Heleim May 19, 1896, at Black Creek.

They farmed near Freedom until 1904 when they moved to the Boyd area. Mr. Conrad was a pioneer resident of the community and was involved in logging for many years. He had made his home with his son, Walter, in Milwaukee before entering the nursing home. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters at Boyd.

Surviving are two sons, John, Livermore, Walter, Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Matilda Chwala, Milwaukee, Mrs. Rose Martenson, Sheboygan; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret O'Neil, West DePere, Mrs. Pauline Watry, Seymour, Mrs.

Martha Frank, Milwaukee; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boyd, with Rev. Charles Herberts officiating.

Dan Downey CHIPPEWA FALLS Dan Downey, 74, Rt. 2, Chippewa Falls, Town of Wheaton, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1896, in Avoca, and moved with his parents to Chippewa Falls in 1914.

Mr. Downey was graduated from McDonell in 1915 and served with the Army in World War I. He married Lucille Lange, in May of 1921. in St. Mr.

Downey was mail carrier for 31 years before retiring in 1956. He was a meber, of St. Charles Catholic I Church and the National Association of Retired Civil Employes. be Surviving are his wife; two sons, Maurice, Chippewa Falls, daughter, Mrs. Edward Boehm, New Auburn; one sister, Mrs.

Mary Meagher, Chippewa Falls, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday at St. Charles Church with burial -in the Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.

Mr. Nelson was born Aug. 2, 1903, in the Town of Hale. He married Clara Hermann and they farmed on the home farm. for several years.

Mr. Nelson moved to Washington state in 1934 and worked as a carpenter. He later moved back to Whitehall and continued 1 carpenter work. Shaw CHIPPEWA FALLS- Robert (Bert) H. Shaw, 66, of 809 Ma-30, ple died Saturday at his home. Mr. Shaw was born Feb. 6, 1904, in the Town of Wheaton.

He married Ingrid Askheim, Town of Wheaton, April 30, 1949, at the Truax Congregational Church. Mr. Shaw was employed at Hoeppner Bartlett Construction had worked in the shipyards at Vancouver, and was custodian at the J.C. Penney Co. store in Chippewa Falls before retiring four years ago because of ill health.

He was a member of the Moose Club and the -National Rifle Asso. Surviving are his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Ackerman, Honolulu, Hawaii, Mrs. Bernard Avery, Kalispell, and one nephew, Robert Olson, Minneapolis. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Nelson was born Nov. 23, 1881, and was married to Joseph R. Nelson, April 7, 1906. They farmed in the Fly Creek area.

Mrs. Nelson was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Whitehall, and was a charter member of the Ladies Aid. Mrs. Gladys Lange BLACK RIVER FALLS Mrs. Gladys Lange, 67, died day afternoon in Memorial Hospital where she had been hospitalized since May 19. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Langlois-Galston Funeral Home and at 10 a.m.

in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. There are no immediate survivors. She was born in Belleville, and graduated from Sparta High School in 1921. She moved with her husband to Black River Falls in 1930.

He owned and operated a drug store and was in the cranberry business here until he died in 1956. Mrs. Lange was active in the CLIO Club, St. Joseph's Altar Society and was organist at the church for several years.
