Every Rush Hour movie delivered was super fun and full of excitement and not forgetting Chan’s dangerous stunts and his display of excellent martial arts skills are truly something that kept us all hyped up.
Rush Hour is simply a film franchise of action and comedy genres. Available currently on Netflix, the first movie has a total running time of 1 hour and 38 minutes. It was released in the year 1998 on 18th September. The movie has been directed by Mr. Brett Ratner and produced by Roger Birnbaum, Jonathan Glickman and Arthur M. Sarkissian. The story has been written by Ross LaManna.
Keeping all the credits aside, ‘Rush Hour’ is a fantastic film. The huge fan following of the film itself is proof that it has created a great impression globally. The great performances, wonderful storyline, lovely music by Lalo Schifrin and the huge support of several production houses have brought out well-crafted art in the world of cinema. Jackie Chan being the major lead actor in the movie has given one of his best performances and other co-actors like Chris Tucker, Tom Wilkinson, Tzi Ma, Mark Rolston, Ken Leung, John Hawkes etc have added to the film beautifully.
The plot of the first film revolves around the daughter of a Chinese consul who is kidnapped and a detective is set to find a solution to the mystery. What follows later on is a complete adventure. The second film also has Jackie Chan in the lead role and includes almost the same set of creators in the team. It has also been appreciated globally and fans have completely loved it to the core.
To be exact, Rush Hour was first released in 1998 and given the popularity of the first film, the franchise gradually expanded and released two more sequels to the original.
The second movie was released in the year 2001 and has a running time of 90 minutes. The film did great at the box office and successfully gained a huge fan appreciation and good reviews as well. Nothing formal has been announced yet regarding Rush Hour 4’s release date. Nonetheless, it appears that an announcement may be approaching given the current conversations and the celebrities’ enthusiasm for the project.

Unfortunately no. Neither the trailer or the teaser of the fourth film has been out yet. The earlier movies being a big hit, it can be expected that the makers might go for another one too. But being confirmed about it is not something that can be assumed before any of the officials announce it. Some news reports do state that the plotting of the storyline is under discussion but this might be a rumour as well.
As there is no confirmation of the movie happening, there is no news of the release date or star cast as well. Let us hope that the fun arrives back again as early as possible and we witness the joy of the film franchise soon.
