Forget about securing residency or employment -- when it comes to living in Prague, first things first: where can you get a decent haircut? The question has dominated our message boards and social networks for years and for many finding an answer is a lot harder than you think.

With salons opening their doors today after a lengthy government shutdown there's sure to be a flood of interest and lengthy waits for shearing lockdown locks and corrections for home-styled hair.

Prior to spring's first wave, we did an informal poll of our readers via Facebook groups and other online communities to find out their favorite, foreigner-friendly hair salon. These were the names that ranked highest among the English-speaking community for friendliness and customer service (barbershops are NOT included in this article).
