Thick morning clouds were quickly eroded and by midday most of the state was seeing a good amount of sunshine. Temperatures that began mainly in the upper 30s and 40s were pressed by a stiff north wind but sunshine helped warm late afternoon temperatures into the mid-40s extreme north and up to the upper 50s in the south.

Theft of property was reported at a local business when three video movies, stick pins and a cassette tape were taken. Criminal mischief was reported by a resident on Dallas Avenue after $200 in damage was done to the roof of his vehicle. Violation of a trespass order was reported at a local elementary school.
